The thing most pages get wrong
The bundling bonus is not automatic. Efficiency Works pays the $2,000 only when a heat pump and envelope work are both done through its Retrofit Rebate program within six months of each other, heat pump water heaters do not count, and the rebates plus the bonus cannot exceed the combined project cost.
Baseboard homes get double the ductless rate
A ductless heat pump earns $500 a ton, but $1,000 a ton when it replaces electric baseboard heat with the baseboards fully removed in the area it serves (rates effective 1 October 2026).
Loans
Residential customers can finance through Elevations Credit Union or the state's RENU loan (Efficiency Works lists loans from $500 to $35,000), and Fort Collins customers through the Epic Loan, up to $50,000.
