The thing most pages get wrong

Holy Cross says income-qualified members get 'double the per item rebate', and every line follows that except one: smart or programmable thermostats are printed as '$50/thermostat (or $500 IQ)'. Confirm the thermostat amount before counting on it.

Electric heat only for insulation

Holy Cross's air sealing and insulation rebates are for 'Electrically heated buildings only'. Homes heated with gas or propane can use its heat pump rebate, which accepts dual-fuel systems.

Water heaters must be all-electric

The heat pump water heater rebate excludes propane and gas: 'Must be electric only.'
