The thing most pages get wrong
The program's page says two things about stacking. Its eligibility section: 'Rebate cannot be combined with rebates provided through the Colorado Home Energy Rebate Program (HEAR/HER).' Its FAQ: it 'can be stacked with all available utility, municipal and state incentives' but not 'with other federally funded programs'. HEAR and HER are federal money, so the first rule is the one that applies.
Denver's own home heat pump rebate is gone
Denver's old residential heat pump rebate pages no longer load, and the city's 'Incentives for Homeowners' link now leads to a group buy that promises savings 'up to 10%' and points to Xcel, the state and Power Ahead Colorado.
Heat pump water heaters later
The first phase covers cold-climate air-source heat pumps only; the program says later phases will add other heat pumps and heat pump water heaters.
