The thing most pages get wrong

The City of Cincinnati's energy page says Duke Energy Ohio does not offer residential efficiency programs, while Duke's own Ohio page offers this free weatherization. Rebate sites err the other way and list Duke Smart $aver rebates of up to $600 for Ohio; Smart $aver runs in the Carolinas, not here.

A marketplace promising rebates that do not exist

Duke's Ohio products page advertises 'access to maximum rebate savings' through its contractor marketplace, though Duke pays no rebates in Ohio. Its weatherization page's link to other offers leads to a missing page.

What the rate plan requires

The PUCO's 2025 order for Duke Energy Ohio's electric security plan, running to May 2028, requires a $7.2 million efficiency program for eligible low-income customers.
