Through the Provide Better portal, or your city's gas office.

The thing most pages get wrong

The portal's city pages are copied carelessly: the LaFayette, Summerville and Trion pages describe Adairsville's partnership, Summerville lists Statesboro's phone number from the other end of the state, and every page carries a website template's placeholder address in Manhattan. Check your city's own page.

Some cities pay only to leave electricity

Social Circle pays only for conversions from electricity or propane; Covington only when a gas appliance replaces an electric one, tankless water heaters excepted; Lawrenceville adds $500 and a free gas tap to convert.

Cartersville pays both ways

Cartersville's electric system pays $250 to replace gas heat with an electric heat pump; its gas department pays rebates only to homes that heat with gas.
