Spire gas rebates in Missouri open
Administered by Spire Missouri (Spire Missouri East and Spire Missouri West).
Spire pays $200 or $300 for an efficient gas furnace, $300 for a gas boiler, $200 to $350 for a gas water heater and $0.40 a square foot for attic or floor insulation, up to $750, on a prepaid card that expires after six months. Equipment must be installed by a licensed contractor, and Spire's program runs from October to September.

The thing most pages get wrong
Spire's rebate is not a check. It arrives on a Spire Prepaid Mastercard, and the form warns: 'Card valid for up to 6 months; unused funds will forfeit after the valid through date.' You can ask for a replacement check for the full value by calling the number on the back of the card.
Or let the contractor take it
The form lets installing contractors receive the rebate if you sign its Rebate Reassignment section; if you do, make sure the invoice shows the reduction.
A new program year has just begun
Spire's program runs from 1 October to 30 September. The forms on its site on 3 October 2026 are the October 2025 editions, so confirm the amounts before you buy. Funding is limited.
