The thing most pages get wrong
Atlantic City Electric's own banner still says 'Get up to $1,300 in HVAC Rebates!'. Its table pays $2,000 for a cold-climate heat pump from April 2026 and up to $10,000 for new geothermal replacing electric heat. Rebate guides that quote ACE at $1,300 match the banner, not the table.
The same job, two utilities
A geothermal heat pump replacing an electric furnace earns up to $10,000 (half the cost) from Atlantic City Electric and a flat $1,500 from JCP&L, both under the same statewide Triennium.
Gas customers
South Jersey Gas, which serves much of ACE's territory, pays its own gas equipment rebates and processes ACE's central air rebates with them.
