The thing most pages get wrong

New Jersey's utilities share one statewide program design but not one set of numbers. For a geothermal heat pump replacing an electric furnace JCP&L pays $1,500 and Atlantic City Electric up to $10,000; for a cold-climate air-source heat pump JCP&L pays $1,000, PSE&G $600 and ACE $2,000.

Free weatherization above the low-income line

JCP&L's Home Weatherization serves households from $82,501 to $132,000 a year for four (250% to 400% of the 2026 poverty guidelines), with up to $14,000 of upgrades and $2,500 of health and safety work.

Until mid-2027

JCP&L's programs are part of the state's Triennium 2, budgeted for 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2027.
