The thing most pages get wrong
Partner pages give the wrong income line for HARRP. Coastal Community Action's HARRP table is 200% of the 2019 guidelines, $51,500 for four; Surry-Yadkin EMC says 150% of poverty. DEQ applies 200% of the 2026 guidelines, $66,000 for four.
Once in 15 years
A home weatherized with federal money in the last 15 years is not eligible again unless a natural disaster has damaged it.
It fixes the envelope, not the house
Homes with structural, roof, plumbing or electrical problems, lead, mold or excessive clutter are deferred until those are fixed, and the program does not replace doors or windows.
