PECO home energy rebates open
Administered by PECO, under Pennsylvania's Act 129.
PECO pays $200 or $300 for an air-source heat pump and $150 or $300 for a mini split by efficiency, $150 or $200 for central air, $350 for a heat pump water heater and up to $50 for a smart thermostat. Its gas rebates were cut on 1 October 2026: now up to $500 for a combi boiler and $400 for the most efficient furnace. Income-qualified homes get a Free Energy Checkup.

A second rebate on the same page
PECO's heating and cooling page advertises the Electrical Association of Philadelphia's own instant rebate, $250 to $1,650 in its Fall 2026 program, through the association's participating contractors. It can be combined with PECO's rebate. PECO says it takes no payment for it.
The gas cut, by request date
The cut follows the date PECO receives the request, not the installation. A combi boiler installed in September but claimed on 1 October 2026 or later gets $500, not $1,000, and a 97% furnace $400, not $600. Every gas rebate fell except the $400 for converting to gas heat.
