PPL Electric Utilities home rebates open

Administered by PPL Electric Utilities, under Pennsylvania's Act 129.

Since 1 June 2026 PPL pays $225 or $325 for an air-source heat pump, $225 for a mini split, $400 for a heat pump water heater and up to $500 each for attic, wall, basement and rim joist insulation in electrically heated homes. Households up to 250% of the poverty guidelines get more; up to 200%, WRAP does the work free.

The thing most pages get wrong

Rebate sites still quote PPL's heat pump rebate at $350 to $450, the amounts before 1 June 2026. Since then PPL pays $225 or $325, or $350 or $475 up to 250% of the poverty guidelines. Its rebate portal still says requests are due within 180 days of installation or by 15 June 2026, whichever is earlier; PPL's 1 June rebate sheet gives 180 days.
