What it pays

No published cap — and that is the honest answer

Nothing is paid to you. A high-efficiency 96% AFUE furnace is installed at no cost, with a programmable thermostat if needed, venting changes and three filters.

Who is eligible

Total combined pre-tax income of all adults in the home: Statistics Canada's 2024 Low-Income Cut-Off for a city of 100,000 to 499,999, plus 50%.

Where the application goes
If this is youApply here
Every eligible householdApply to SaskPower's Energy Assistance Program. Its home energy coach flags the furnace, SaskEnergy sends an invitation, and CLEAResult verifies income and the furnace before a Network Member installs the new one.

The thing most pages get wrong

Fifty furnaces, for the whole province, for seven months. SaskEnergy says direct applications will not be accepted and that the programme may change or end without notice. Its income line is also lower than the Energy Assistance Program's, so passing that test does not mean passing this one.
