The thing most pages get wrong

THDA's 'Weatherization Assistance Program Income Standards' link opens DOE's 2025 guidelines, $64,300 for a family of four. The 2026 line is $66,000, and THDA's plan uses 'the most current criteria'. A household between the two figures should ask its agency rather than assume it does not qualify.

A small program for a big state

353 homes a year from federal money is the plan's own figure. Expect a waiting list, and look at TVA's Home Uplift if your power company offers it.

Bill help is separate

THDA also runs LIHEAP, which helps pay energy bills; weatherization fixes the home.
