An electric utility paying you to leave electric heat

UGI Electric's largest rebate is for replacing electric heat with a gas furnace or boiler, up to $1,500, more than it pays for most heat pumps. UGI also runs the gas utility. The page's own summary still says customers can receive up to $400.
