The thing most pages get wrong

A gas-heated home in Clark County gets nothing from Clark Public Utilities for a heat pump: every heat pump rebate names an electric furnace, zonal electric heat or an existing heat pump. NW Natural, the gas utility in Southwest Washington, goes the other way, offering up to $1,800 toward a gas furnace and air conditioner, including to convert electric or oil heat.

Buying a water heater across the river

Heat pump water heaters marked down at an Oregon Lowe's or Home Depot through Energy Trust do not get Clark's standard $1,500 rebate; Clark's own online marketplace is sold out.
