The thing most pages get wrong

WestLight's own heat pump page still lists federal tax credits "for 30% of the cost of upgrades to heat pump technology, up to $2,000" and $1,200 for other upgrades. Those credits ended for anything installed after 2025.

For CARE and FERA households

WestLight says the $1,000 bonuses on a water heater, a heat pump and two panel upgrades mean an upgrade will in most cases cost nothing or next to nothing.
